We hunt black bears in the thick aspen-birch-spruce country of northern Minnesota, where big woods bears still move freely. Every hunt is fully guided: we place you on active bait sites, handle transport, and walk you through field care after a successful harvest.

Our bait sites run from early summer through the opener. That means we know the bears on each site — their size, color, and pattern of movement — before you ever climb into a stand. Minnesota produces black, chocolate, and cinnamon bears, and we tailor stand assignments to match your goals.

After dark, you’re back at a clean Northwoods cabin with a hot meal, good coffee, and a place to dry your gear. We keep camp small so it stays comfortable and you get the rest you need for the next sit.

More than just the hunt.
Midday is yours. Fish a nearby lake, nap at camp, or glass clear-cuts for bears moving before evening. The pace of a bear hunt is deliberate, and we build in time to enjoy the country you’re hunting.
Many hunters bring a non-hunter along to share the experience. Our non-hunter package includes lodging, meals, and fishing access.
